Personally for me it was all about the money. I waitressed for years, worked my butt off in a local diner supporting my kids and I made change for tips. $20 a day was a good day. Minimum wage and change for tips and it was the hardest job I ever had as it was half restaurant half variety store so you did it all. After 6 years of watching the owner drive customers away I moved up to fine dining in a local hotel. More tips and less work, I thought I was on to something. I evolved from part-time server to dining room/banquet supervisor. Supervisors are salary and don't get tips so I really was going backwards financially with more responsibility. I eventually reached a glass ceiling because I wasn't educated so I had to do something. I went back to school and took business admin. at Lambton College. It was wonderful to have time with my kids again. As a waitress I had never been home for dinners or bedtimes. Missed every Mother's Day and New Years Eve. It was great to have that time back. I finished school and got a job right way. Perfect! More money then I had ever made! It was great, until they downsized after 3 years. Within a week I had a new job, a better job. A manufacturing plant with full benefits, paid holidays, opportunity for growth it was what I always wanted until the bank repo'd it in Jan 2011. I had been there for 5 years. We got nothing. No severence, no pension, no nothing. 45 weeks of EI and I was 5 years older then last time I looked for work. It was a real blow and to be honest made me frustrated that everytime I got things going good someone else's decisions effected my life and took it away.
So a couple months after the plant closed my girlfriend told me about MonaVie I was all over it. I am sick and tired of living on the edge of if I have any security. I feel much better controlling it myself. Although I understood the selling feature of MonaVie being an all natural juice and how it can make you healthy but frankly I thought I was ok. I didn't think I 'needed' it. I haven't been sick really since I quit smoking 8 years ago but figured I would drink it because you can't sell something you don't beleive in.
So I got my first case and I was shocked to feel a significant boost within the first couple days. I thought about it after and considering how awful my diet was (no fruit at all, eating 1-2 times daily) it is not surprising. Since being on the juice I am down 30 pounds, my hair, nails and skin are super healthy, my knees rarely ache at night and I have a huge vericose vein on the back of my leg that is shrinking.
Within a couple months I was drinking the juice for free which is really the first milestone that we try to help everyone get to as fast as possible. Now I am a Star1000, have a great team made of old and new friends and am making weekly commissions. When I jump to the next rank of Bronze I will get a $250 bonus : ) My goal is to be able to live off MonaVie commissions and bonuses and every day to be a Saturday.
