As a candidate for city county council Im wondering how this board feels about having a current council that the majority age is over 60 years old.
Do you think that haveing younger people on council will change or help sarnias Image
Vote for Dean Robinson on the 13th let me be your voice

Why not have a good mix, not younger, not older but something more even across the board, that way you cover more of the views of the voters. Just a thought, after all I don’t live in Sarnia anymore, and I don’t have any political views.

I personally would like to see a little bit of a mix. but being that this board seems to cater to some of of the younger vote I'm curious as to what the younger folks think

I voted yes, my spouce wrote the letter to the editor promoting 'younger' candidates. I would say 'younger' is an acrinim for 'younger ideas and new veiwpoint'
For county council the decision was easy, Fobister for sure with Dean Robinson and Mat Fleming. For sure NOT Anne Marie Gilis!!! Bev or Boushy should get the nod for the last seat. Bev is a waffler, Boushy is Boushy but he does have friends in Toronto and Ottawa, and can get council needs addressed.
For City, Keltch, Trothen, Darren and Okan.
For Mayor we need a credible representative to Queens Park and County Council like Mike, not a mouthpiece, someone with a history of being pompous and having an ego like Joe. Talk to other county council members from the oter municipalities, they find that they don't know how Sarnia could ever have ever chose Joe as a representative in the first place.
Pipe dreams or responsibility, you choose.

Cheap shot! So you can spell acrinim? I didn't use spell check as you will see. I know I am intelligent as I am doing real well in the real world! acronym... possibly you can tell me if I used it in the right context? I don't post much but feel that we need a younger voice on council. We need people who are genuine in their beliefs, like Darren, Okan and Dean and who can make a difference. Not people with their own agendas like AMG and Joe. Someone said somewhere perhaps sarniasgun.proboards83.com/ that Vollmar offers nothing and Bev waffles too much. My reason to be here is that I check this site out as I have and will hire bands and support local talent. Jen Brace is my favourite. Best regards and do vote for a younger council.

To answer your question: No, You did not use the word acronym in the proper context. I will first give an example of an acronym followed by a definition.
MADD is an acronym. It stands for Mothers Against Deadbeat Dads.
ac·ro·nym n.
1. a word formed from the initial letters or groups of letters of words in a set phrase or series of words, as Wac from Women's Army Corps, OPEC from Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, or loran from long-range navigation
